Sustainable Events… How does it apply to Weddings?

Sustenance according to me is a precautionary measure taken with deep thought, concern, and scientific reasoning. The thought beyond one’s need, comfort zone for the well-being of future generations is being sustainable and the best gift we can give them is our Mother Earth. Being Sustainable is the responsibility of every person, but how can it be applicable for events? Let us ponder over this topic in relation to the mother of all events- Wedding!!
Wedding is an event with the qualities of a number of emotions- happiness, sadness, expectations, responsibilities, fun galore; a dream come to life for all concerned. To this mix, an Event Manager adds an ingredient which adds meaning to the Wedding Event- Sustainable. Events are made sustainable by minimizing environmental impact thus maximizing positive contributions to communities. We focus on reducing waste, conserving resources, and promoting eco-friendly practices, keeping in mind the economic implications and fulfilling the social commitment.
